Telescoping Ramp

Hollywood Racks telescoping ramp

The Destination E includes a telescoping, aluminum ramp so you can easily roll your e-bikes on and off the rack - no heavy lifting required. The ramp telescopes to ensure it touches the ground so you don't have to lift your bike at all. It can also be used to decrease the angle of approach to make loading even easier.

Arms with Padded, Rotating Clamps

Hollywood Racks Destination E2 ratcheting hooks

Arms with padded, rotating clamps grab your bikes by the top tubes or downtubes to ensure safe transport with minimal movement and noise. They move up and down the center mast independently, so you can position them to fit bikes of any frame style.

Curved Trays for Easy Loading

Hollywood Racks Destination E2 ratcheting hooks

Curved wheel trays allow you to easily roll your bikes onto the rack. The trays also have wide cradles that accommodate most bike tire sizes.

Hollywood Racks Destination E2 ratcheting hooks

Ratcheting straps secure your bike's wheels to the trays. The straps are padded and the outermost straps tilt upward toward your tires to ensure a perfect fit.

90-Degree Tilt

Hollywood Racks tilt awayHollywood racks tilt up

You can tilt the rack down 90-degrees with bikes loaded, giving you more room for cargo area access than a standard tilting bike rack. From behind the rack, spin the rear-mounted handle counterclockwise to loosen it, push it forward, and tilt the rack down away from you. When you're ready to raise the rack, simply pull it back up, pull the handle up, and tighten it down to secure the rack in place.

Hollywood Racks telescoping ramp

It also folds up when not in use. This leaves a smaller footprint, so you can keep the rack on your vehicle to park in your garage. And if you want to remove it, it doesn't take up as much space to store it.

Tool-Free Installation

Hollywood Racks Destination E2 ratcheting hooks

To install the rack, simply slide the shank into your receiver and insert the hitch pin. Once installed, turn the lever on the front of the rack to deploy a loop in the shank that serves as an anti-wobble device to eliminate rattle in the hitch receiver during transport.

Complete Security

Hollywood Racks Destination E2 ratcheting hooks

Locks on each frame clamp knob secure your bikes to the rack. The knobs spin freely when locked so a would-be thief can't operate them to remove your bikes from the clamps.

Hollywood Racks Destination lock

A locking hitch pin secures the rack to your vehicle. The locks are keyed alike so you only need to use 1 key.

As always, fast order processing an delivery from etrailer. The rack is exactly what I expected. Our Heybike Rangers are 60lbs each without the battery and this rack handles bikes up to 70lbs each. Super simple to assemble, quality parts with perfect alignment and the fit and finish are first rate. My wife can load her own bike with the included ramp. I'm very pleased with my purchase. I've since drilled additional 1/4" holes 2" forward of the originals so that I can get the second straps to fit over the front tires. The original placements didn't work with our bikes (see photo).

Were still loving this rack after a year of ownership and many, many, miles driven with this rack on the back! Multiple trips from PA to SC and never an issue. Were recently upgraded our E-Bikes to full-size adventure bikes Aventon and Mokwheel and the rack continues to work flawlessly.

by:

The only thing I can add is a request for better instructions on installing the additional straps for the front wheels. However, I did figure it out. Thanks for the quick shipping and the excellent service.

Im really enjoying the quality of this bike rack. As stated by your company its a very sturdy rack and the quality is hard to beat. I looked at several bike racks and the Hollywood Destination E Bike rack was the best of whats out there.

by:

Love it and it was almost 4 stars because it could use a little more space between the bikes, I have a Letric XP and my wife has a Pedego. My front baskets and her rear rack barely rub, but they rub. Still a 5-star because how nice it is that I no longer wrestle the Fixit crossbar as we both have step-throughs. Took a few things off my XP to get the weight (front rack, but kept the rear) down to 67 pounds with no battery, Wifes Pedego is 57 pounds with battery. Yes, I actually physically weighed my bikes. I am a senior and lifting our bikes into hoops was getting old, the ramp is excellent. etrailer did a great job and I recommend them. Put it on Honda CRV today and did a test ride and it traveled well.

Now using mostly on our Sprinter camper van, took it coast to coast and had no issues at all.

Ordered this bike rack from etrailer after watching numerous reviews on U-Tube. It arrived promptly and was very easy to assemble and install. It is perfect for transporting 2 Aventon pace 500 E-bikes, quality and functionality are both excellent.

by:

I love my Hollywood Destination E Bike rack. I can mount it on the back of my truck myself, and the ramp makes loading and unloading my heavy ebike a breeze. I also love Etrailer for their support and efficiency. I would highly recommend this ebike rack and this company.

by:

I use this rack for two electric bikes and it is excellent. It rides very solid and does exactly what it is intended to do. I see so many flimsy racks on the road and am extremely glad I took the time to investigate and buy the Hollywood Rack over other alternatives. I would recommend this rack to anyone that values their bike and tow vehicle.

This rack has many features that sets it apart from the pack; however, I feel the best feature is how the tongue of the rack securely locks into the hitch receiver eliminating any movement between the rack & the tow vehicle... it is solid as a rock!

by:

We are a retired couple and lifting ebikes on and off a rack was getting too hard. We like this rack with the ramp. If we didn't have it, we probably wouldn't be taking the bikes out recreationally.

by:

I got this rack to transport two Ebikes on my wife’s Highlander and my GMC2500. We have Aventon Aventure and Sinch bikes. They weigh around 63 and 60 lbs with the battery removed. I had tried loading into the bed of the pickup and using a tailgate pad but it was a struggle to load the bikes myself. This rack makes it a lot easier using the ramp. The clamps work fine on the bikes even though both are step through models. I may put a strap on the tilt mechanism as a safety. Due to the wheelbase of the asinch I did drill another set of holes to provide a better mounting location and increase the amount of strap that went through the latch. I also found a way to hang the rack on the wall in my shed to store it when not in use. I’m going to order a spare strap just in case one breaks.

by:

Absolutely love this rack. Holds my 2 Euphree Ebikes perfectly. Have put several miles on with hardly no movement to bikes weighing in at 60# ea. I do use the added tie down around both bikes for additional security. The tilt down option would be great with a hatchback. Fortunately I have an older Explorer where the top glass opens separately from the gate. The rack is far enough from the tail gate so not necessary to use for me on this vehicle. The ramp is very sturdy, not flimsy and easy to attach. Works out great walking the bike up. Although second bike needs to be really tilted forward to load to bypass 1st bike. Sometimes easier to just lift up the outside bike. Since the bikes cover the lights and turn signals I have bought additional lights to attach to the rack since I'm wired for trailers for my next travel. I personal love this rack and is very doable for this 69 yo lady. Highly recommend.

by:

Was quite easy to assemble and install. Very sturdy.
I am using it to carry two 60lb. e-bikes and it does the trick. The loading ramp is a huge benefit.
We drove from Delaware along back roads and highways to NJ. No issues.
Next trip will be NJ to VT, another good test.
I only wish it has some small wheels somewhere because the rack itself it quite heavy to move out of the garage and onto the car.
Given the torque on the hitch receiver with a total of nearly 200lbs+, I think people need to be careful that they have a good hitch rated to carry that much weight.

Great Bike Rack. In Feb 2021, I purchased a Swagman Current Bike Rack from etrailer for my two regular bikes and anticipation of buying an e-bike. In May 2021, I purchased two Scott Sub-Active E-bikes. My Swagman bike rack worked well but I always needed help to lift my 63 lbs Scott e-bikes onto the rack. In Jan 2022, I had torn a shoulder muscle while lifting my e-bike onto the rack. From that point on, I decided I needed to get an e-bike rack that came with a ramp. Thule, Yakima and Kuat made racks with ramps but none of those three had other features that met my needs. Around May 2022, Hollywood Racks released their “Destination E” bike rack. After much studying, I decided that the Destination E was the rack for me and ordered one from etrailer in July 2022. I received my rack within a week from etrailer.

Assembly was rather easy after viewing video clips from etrailer website and Hollywood Racks videos online. The Destination E bike rack is well constructed and sturdy. My two conventional bikes were easy to load and mount on the Destination E without any problems. See attached photos. On my two Scott E-bikes which have the “step-thru” frames, the first one loaded easy but on my second one, I needed to use a “frame adapter bar” to mount my bike. See attached photos. To make sure that my bikes were securely mounted on, I used two bungee cords to keep my two bikes secured together.

The best part of my Destination E bike rack was the ramp. It could adjust to any length and is very sturdy. Some reviews I seen from etrailer staff cited that there was no way to store the ramp on the outside of the rack and that was a possible reason for customers not to buy the Destination E. Without anywhere to store the ramp on the outside is fine with me. First, the ramp does not weigh much and shrinks into a small compact size. It can be stored anywhere safely inside the vehicle. If stored outside, it might be easily stolen or lost during transportation.

In summary, there are not too many e-bike racks on the market that will accommodate a 63 lbs e-bike that have fenders and come with an adjustable ramp like the Hollywood Destination E Bike Rack. I highly recommend to anyone in buying this bike rack.

Also, I am very happy with my decision to purchase again from etrailer. Your folks are a great company. Your staff’s video reviews are very informative and helpful. Your prices are competitive. Delivery was fast and my prior experience with the etrailer’s Customer Service staff has been great. Keep up the awesome work!!!

by:

Love the rack, especially the tightening system onto the steel shank. It keeps the bikes and the entire rack from side-to-side swings. I would suggest making variations of the padded clamps available, due to the various bike frames on the market. They don't fit well onto our bikes, especially since we remove the batteries for long distance travel.

by:

Very nice rack for heavy e bikes.
Hitch
connection tightens down to reduce wobble and the ramps work wonderfully....

by:

This is a great rack. Very solid for two 60 pound e-bikes. The rap makes them easy to load and off load. The bikes are held in place securely and the rack is very quiet. I use it on my Acura RDX. Very happy with it. Would highly recommend

by:

This e-bike rack is terrific. Easy to mount. Doesn't interfere with the car's rear lights. I have additional rear lights to reinforce the presence of the bike rack.

There was a minor recall for one of the connectors. I've been so busy, that I did not take advantage of this issue. To the company's credit, the communications with the e-trailer team have been exceptional.

by:

This is a nice, very well engineered bike rack, and is one of the few I've seen that provides a ramp for loading the bikes. If I had to say anything negative, the only thing I could say is that the rack is pretty heavy, but I guess that is necessary given that it is rated for the heavier e-bikes.

by:

The best service I have ever had on any order from any company. The sales lady was right on with orders and delivery was quick. Have not had a chance to use the bike rack yet but did install and load both bikes. Very pleased. Will continue to use Etrailer for all my needs. Thanks!

by:

We upgraded to this E Bike Rack as our previous bike rack would not accommodate the 4" tires on our RadPower Bikes. We are fulltime RVers and we have been looking for something easy to operate and move from our 5th wheel trailer to our truck.

by:

has everything i was needing in a ebike carrier.
needed a ramp set up a 80 lb ebike
wanted an anit-wobble hitch/ takes the wobble out of carrier
needed a folding carrier for tight parking places, like parking garages
the tilt feature is nice to access car or truck
like the locking features on carrier. sure, thieves can bust/cut thru lock, but like the convivence locking for those short shopping/pit stops.
tire cradles support 4 inch fat tire.
straps are padded and ez to tie down/remove from tires.
support arm is padded with lock. adjust to fit ebike.
little pricey, but worth it to me.

by:

The bike rack was a disaster . Literally the hardware sheered off and the rack collapsed while traveling at 70 mph . Inferior hardware used by manufacturer. Our bikes were heavily damaged . HR took full responsibility and paid for all damages. They also sent another rack of different design . Stay away from this rack . Oven tho HR made it right . It was a lot of STRESS , WASTED TIME ECT ECT. MY LAST NAME HOWARD , CAN VERIFY THRU HR RACKS

by:

Just got the hitch installed and setup the rack. Both ebikes fit great. I did need to order two sets of ratchet extender straps to be able to make two of the three straps work with my 20" wheel 4" wide fat tires. Overall, I expected I may need those straps. Great delivery time and can't wait to take my bikes everywhere.

by:

Great quality bike rack , secure my two E-bikes with no problem, no movement or racking of any type .

by:

My Hollywood bike rack arrived earlier than expected and the staff at etrailer were very professional, answering all my questions. Great people to work with!

by:

Great bike holder. Very solid, well designed and engineered.

by:

My Aventon Aventure being 72 lbs made it difficult to find a rack rated to bear the weight.Hollywood had the answer.Easy assembly, looks and preforms well.An extension is needed to open the doors of a RAM Promasrer while rack is mounted.
